Ranking #6 in the EU and #14 in the world according to the yearly volume of production, Romania increasingly qualifies as a much visited Wine Travel country. 

Of the 400+ registered wine cellars in the country, of which 250+ are actually selling on the local and international wine markets, quite a few have built elegant tasting venues within their vineyards, where their wines can be tasted, accompanied by highly appreciated  traditional and international gastronomy.

Not only vines, but also many orchards were planted in the last decades, while older ones have been revamped and up-to-date distilleries have been set up, which turn out traditional high quality plum brandy, cherry brandy and other fruit liquors.

This website aims at presenting to worldwide audiences some of the most successful wineries and distilleries from various regions of Romania.
